My senior capstone project that incorporated music to promote action to liberate the enslaved in our society. It is a music festival that encourages listeners to speak up, ensure justice, break the silence, and be a voice against human trafficking.

Dear Makayla
Dear Makayla is a collaboration with USF photography alumni, Grace Berg. I recorded ten individuals reading the letter they wrote addressed to their friend who committed suicide. Each of the recordings were around 3-10 minutes long . The audio was edited, mixed, and mastered to be presented along with photographs depicting each person's relationship with her. Each individual photograph done by Grace was displayed along with the spoken letter audio.
This piece is a compilation of original material all - produced, recorded, edited, mixed, and mastered by Mariah Escamilla. This piece is a showcase of implementing original music under Dialogue. This is a powerful piece - seeking to encourage suicide prevention.

MUSC 405 Project - Nacho Libre Sound Implementation
final project for Audio for Film, Video, and Animation course. the goal was to complete the entire post production process for a short video clip- all credits go to film-makers of Nacho Libre as I do not own any rights to this legendary cinematic experience. Everything including [FX, AMB, DX, MUSC] were all compiled together; some original sounds, loops, music etc. were created and some from BBC SFX library, YouTube, etc. This was all done for educational purposes.

Ave Verum Corpus - Sacred Choir
a Sacred Choir from Toledo, OH periodically comes to the University of Saint Francis to provide music for Mass and to use our chapel for their concerts. This recording is from one of their concerts in the USF Chapel. On-Location recording utilized DPA Microphones and a Dante Rednet system. This song was mixed in ProTools utilizing iZotope plugins including RX7.
